Job Description

Streamline Account Managers are the main point of contact for our clients and are responsible for the day-to-day needs to flawlessly execute campaigns for brands like Expedia, Backcountry, Sur La Table, and many more. The right individual will be a crucial contributor, responsible for all aspects of campaign execution, including developing media plans, building relationships with media partners, delivering on advertising deadlines, reporting, troubleshooting tracking problems, and optimizing to achieve clients’ goals. The Account Manager will delegate work to Account Associates and Data Analysts to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Support the Account Associate by answering questions on new publisher recruits looking to join client affiliate programs
  • Understand how all new recruits drive traffic
  • Generate creative ideas for advanced publisher recruitment, such as high-volume or complicated publisher models

Partner Management & Optimization

  • Build agenda for weekly client meetings
  • Lead weekly client meetings
  • Provide clients with strategic recommendations to optimize their program and specific publishers within the program
  • Provide clients with recommendations for testing commission rates
  • Follow all Streamline best practices across all areas of account management
  • Maintain awareness of current affiliate news and updates, the competitive landscape, as well as client’s industry news in order to provide relevant strategic recommendations
  • Maintain awareness of affiliate network technology changes in order to ensure Streamline is making use of all network features in order to meet clients’ needs

Media Planning

  • Collaborate with Account Associate to perform RFPs to support client goals and promotional events
  • Organize client media planners based on Streamline best practices
  • Oversee Account Associate in their work sending creative assets to publishers and following up to ensure all media buys are running as anticipated

Reporting & Analysis

  • Define client success metrics and ensure clients are tracking to said metrics via forecasting and budgeting
  • Analyze lift analysis KPIs to provide recommendations for future media buys
  • Analyze weekly partner performance and commission testing analysis
  • Perform quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and present to clients
  • Perform competitive monitoring, analysis, and documentation

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Oversee Account Associate work in software/toolbar audits and compliance
  • Oversee trademark infringement compliance monitoring and follow up
  • Oversee typo squatter/redirector strategy to ensure no fraudulent activity takes place

Technical Support

  • Investigate and resolve tracking issues

Management & Other

  • Guide Account Associate in Streamline best practices
  • Meet with direct reports weekly to ensure they have appropriate feedback and the ability to grow within the organization
  • Deliver regular updates to your Account Director on the health of your clients’ programs
  • Obtain yearly platform use certifications
  • Participate in peer and self-performance reviews

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Candidates will not be considered without at least one year of direct affiliate marketing experience.
  • 3 years of work-related experience in a marketing agency environment, or
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal colleagues and external clients
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience working independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office, including Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
  • BA/BS degree

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of work-related experience in a marketing agency environment
  • Deep understanding of online marketing, strongly preferred
  • Experience managing Fortune 500 clients, strongly preferred
